From The Guardian:
Now in their fourth year the awards recognise key “climate change champions” – individual entrepreneurs, small and large businesses, the public sector, academics, charities and other organisations – who are delivering innovative solutions to combat climate change.
This year the chances of winning are greater than ever as the 2009 Awards will be given for innovation across six separate categories.
It’s easy to enter. Complete stage one by filling out a simple nomination form on the Awards web site at http://www.carbontrust.co.uk/awards.
The closing date is 9 October 2009 and the Carbon Trust will let successful entrants know by October 16 that they have been shortlisted. They will then be asked to complete a second stage entry form.
Only entrants short-listed for stage two will need to complete a more detailed questionnaire, supplemented by support materials and documentation.
